Well, it’s official! I am running for Clovis City Council District 5.
I am a business owner, paraprofessional, wife, and mother who has proudly called Clovis home since 2007. Over the years, I have watched our community grow and have come to appreciate the importance of thoughtful leadership that preserves the values we cherish while planning responsibly for the future.
One of the greatest challenges facing Clovis is ensuring we have a comprehensive, sustainable approach to housing. We need to create opportunities that allow young professionals, working families, and future generations to build their lives here. As the parent of children in their 20s and 30s, I understand firsthand how difficult it has become for young adults to afford to live independently. I am committed to supporting practical housing solutions that help current residents remain in Clovis while attracting new families, workers, and businesses that strengthen our local economy.
As our city continues to grow, we must also invest in transportation that keeps people connected. That means improving our roads, enhancing traffic flow, and strengthening public transportation options, including our city bus system, to better serve residents of all ages and abilities.
I believe Clovis can continue to be a city that honors its traditions while embracing smart, responsible growth. Together, we can build a future that is safe, affordable, and full of opportunity for everyone who calls Clovis home.
