I want to thank the Clovis Democratic Club for giving me space on your website to speak directly to your members. I truly appreciate it.
Now that the votes have been counted, I’m off to a running start! July is a big month — Independence Day, Disability Pride Month, and my birthday all at once.
My van is getting a workout because I’m immersing myself in the Central Valley. I’m traveling into communities across the district so I can meet as many people as possible before November.
I promised Town Halls, and I meant it. I’ll be holding weekly virtual Town Halls every Sunday evening starting July 12, with sign‑ups available through Mobilize. We’re also planning in‑person Town Halls beginning in August, so keep an eye out for dates and locations on my social media, in campaign newsletters, and on Mobilize.
I’m genuinely looking forward to meeting people and answering their questions. Virtual Town Halls matter to me because they give everyone — including those who can’t attend in person — a chance to be heard.
In solidarity, Sandra Van Scotter

I am also attending many club meetings and community events throughout the Congressional District so I don’t miss any opportunity to meet as many of you as I can!
July brought my official endorsement from the California Democratic Party and new responsibilities to each county Democratic Central Committee that is represented in CA20. I look forward to learning my new roles and bringing representation to each Democratic Central Committee.
July also brought post-primary election data and discovering how many NEW registered voters there are in our Congressional District! Canvassing, post-carding and phone banking opportunities are coming very soon!
We are always looking for new places to meet people, answer questions and spread the word about why it’s important to VOTE ME IN and FLIP CA20 BLUE in November! Reach out to us at teamsandra@electsandravanscotter.com to get involved!
In Solidarity,
Sandra Van Scotter, Candidate for Congressional District 20
