Thank you for reaching out and giving me the opportunity to provide regularly scheduled campaign updates to your club. It is an honor to serve your community and I look forward to representing more of the Clovis region in the next Congress and working with each of you.
Nothing is more important to me than ensuring a strong future for our Valley. Throughout my career I’ve worked hard to deliver for my constituents. That includes improving water supplies, expanding access to healthcare, reducing crime and providing for our veterans. The fight continues to ensure that Congress makes investments in our nation’s infrastructure, supports working families, delivers on job creation, and meets your health care needs. That means electing a democratic majority in the U.S. House of Representatives in November.
As we celebrate our country’s 250th birthday we are reminded that America is the first democracy. It was born on the idea that all people are created equal and entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Our country has been a beacon of hope who’s light shines bright for other nation’s throughout the world. As a member of the House Foreign Affairs committee, I am constantly reminded that other nations have traditionally looked toward our country as the leader of the free world. We must learn from our history, and lead by example. Never shrinking away from our responsibilities.
As democrats we know firsthand that this administration is making daily attacks upon each branch of our government and jeopardizing the very foundation of our democracy. Their actions give me grave concern and remind me daily that our democracy is fragile, and that we must work to preserve it for future generations.
As we conclude the Fourth of July celebration I hope you were able to enjoy time with your family and friends. Thank you once again for allowing me the privilege to serve as your representative. The continued efforts of your club and your support of my campaign is appreciated.
